Friday 17th February at Spotlight, Lancaster

L D Brown has been asked to perform at The Storey Institute on Friday 17th February.

I have heard only good things about this event.

The wonderful poet Roland Crowland won second prize at this thing last month. If you haven’t heard of him, then you are missing something special. He has recently had some perfomances filmed and featured on the YouTube, so I highly recommend you have a watch. His work is a loud and angry social commentary pitted with lashings of Nothern slang and references to the occult.

Things will kick off at about 7pm. Tickets are £5. I don’t know where the building is. I think it’s opposite the Waterstones on the corner. I might be wrong.

L D Brown will be performing alongside short story-writer Rob Muir and poet and possessor of brightly-coloured hair, Emily Butt.
